Ms. Maggie & The Cat’s Pyjamas brings you a melting pot of vintage jazz, blues & swing from the Roaring Twenties & Swinging 30/40s and comes in two styles:
1). NEW ORLEANS/DIXIELAND - vocals, trumpet, banjo/guitar, sousaphone/tuba with optional drums, clarinet/sax.
2). CLASSIC SWING - vocals, piano, double bass and drums with clarinet/sax and or trumpet/trombone.
Aside from the wide variety of songs available in our repertoire you can also chose from themed events:
The Billie Holiday Songbook. Gershwin meets Cole Porter. The 1940s Songbook. Jazz and The Silver Screen.
Or we can come up with a theme especially for your event.
Also available as a solo guest artist or band in a variety of configurations from duo - septet to suit your event.
